Summer MTEL Prep Course Offerings
The BPS Office of Human Capital supports the professional growth of all BPS educators by providing MTEL preparation and licensure support at no cost. This year we offered four sessions: Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Winter 2016, and Spring 2016. We will continue to provide support in SY 16-17. We begin by offering Summer 2016 MTEL Prep Sessions. Check out the Summer 2016 MTEL Prep Course Schedule.

Please sign up for our Summer 2016 sessions on My Learning Plan. Space is limited, so please check your availability and be intentional about your course sign-up. Courses will be subject to cancellation based on enrollment. If you have any questions, please contact Ceronne B. Theatre Summer Opportunity for Students
826 Boston and the American Repertory Theater are seeking rising 9th graders to join us this summer in the WORDplay Theater and Writing Summer Co-Lab. This is a 5-week program in which students will write and perform a professional-quality play for a one-night-only final performance on a local stage. Student Feedback in Performance Evaluation Information Session
The BTU and the School Department are nearing agreement on including student feedback in the performance evaluation system. Please join us on Monday, June 6 from 4:30-6:30 PM at the BTU to learn more about this process, to hear from vendors of student feedback survey instruments, and to share your views. The BTU is proud to become the local sponsor organization for Fund for Teachers. If you are interested in serving on the BTU Fund for Teachers Steering Committee, please RSVP here with your preferred date for a first meeting. There will be plenty of opportunities to hep if you are unable to make the first meeting, where we’ll begin to shape our vision for the BTU/FFT partnership.
