  • Thinking Through Art Winter Institute
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum presents Thinking Through Art, a professional development program for teachers of all subjects in Boston Public Schools proven to improve culturally responsive instruction and foster critical thinking and social-emotional learning. We introduce innovative, student-centered approaches that can be applied directly to the classroom to expand students’ learning horizons. Educators across BPS unite to exchange ideas, gain support, and receive valuable feedback from their peers and Museum educators. Thinking Through Art includes intensive professional development, a visual art curriculum, and free guided Museum visits – including transportation. A $100 materials fee covers all program components, with opportunities to earn Professional Development Points or graduate credits. Apply by December 20th, 2024, at gardnermuseum.org/tta to start your journey in our Winter Institute, or email your questions to ThinkArt@isgm.org.
