Contract Bargaining Updates

The bargaining process with Boston Public Schools regarding the 2024-27 iteration of our union contract has begun. Our membership has unanimously approved our initial contract proposals package, which informs our negotiations with the district moving forward. Here is a list of our outstanding contract priorities that still need to be resolved with the district.

This bargaining period, we have a serious commitment to our goals of securing: High-Quality Programs and Facilities, Inclusion Done Right, Student Well-Being, Fair and Equitable Pay and more. All in-service BTU members are encouraged to register and attend one of our bargaining sessions. During these sessions, you will observe negotiations, take notes and receive key insight into the process that could be used for future organizing opportunities.
