Sixth Annual BTU Back To School Fair: September 21
We’re excited to confirm our Sixth Annual BTU Back to School Fair for BPS families, September 21 from 1:00-4:00pm at the BTU and Carson Beach! Educators, please sign up for First Book for free and reduced price books. It also helps us keep this event and partnership growing in coming years! Visit firstbook.org/aft to sign up so that you can receive free books at the fair, too. We are also looking for volunteers beginning Wednesday, September 18 to help sort books. All volunteers will receive free books for helping out!
NEW — BTU Digitizing Day
The BTU Digitizing Day materials, including 190 images and 17 video interviews, are now available online! The materials are organized together with a number of other Community-Based Collecting Projects that are part of the digital collections of University Archives and Special Collections in the Joseph P. Healey Library at UMass Boston, located at openarchives.umb.edu. Check them out and learn about the history of the Boston Teachers Union!
