NEW — Student-Organized March to Smith & Wesson Seeks Volunteers
This month, high school students from across the Commonwealth announced their next big event: 50 Miles More, a 50-mile walk from Worcester to Smith and Wesson’s Headquarters in Springfield. The students are demanding that Smith and Wesson, the nation’s third largest gun manufacturer, stop selling firearms outside Massachusetts that are not legal to sell in Massachusetts. In addition, the students are demanding funds for gun violence prevention and gun trafficking research.
These students are showing incredible leadership, however, they need your help! Sign up now to volunteer as a walker or to help with sign-in, first aid, meal prep, security and other things. If you cannot volunteer, consider donating to the cause or buying the official t-shirt. With your help, the students will be leaving August 22 and rallying in front of Smith and Wesson on August 26. High school students can sign up to walk here.

The O’Bryant Student Immigrant Movement (SIM) Club has joined in the fundraising efforts. Please help them reach their $2,000 goal by making a tax-deductible donation and sharing this link with your networks.
