Good day to each of you and Happy Thanksgiving. The BTU office will close at 2 PM on Wednesday and will remain closed on Thursday and Friday. The RTC office is closed on Wednesday as well. We hope you have a good and restful holiday with your friends and family.

The BTU has filed a charge with the state Ethics Commission alleging that at least two Mass Commonwealth Charters Schools used school funds, supplies, and email access to generate support for their rally on the Common last week. Transportation was also provided, as was student-release time, in order to insure a good turnout. Read the Ethics complaint and see separate Globe reports on the ethics charge and on the rally, which was attended by hundreds of students, parents and teachers.

What if I have other questions?
Email your field representative, Michael or Caren. Don’t know who your field representative is? See here.

What should I do if my principal says that there’s no money to compensate me?
File anyway, contact your field representative, and keep good records.
