We have 12 days to go before the most consequential ballot question on education in the country will be decided. Today’s Boston Globe poll says that we are tied 45% to 45% with 9% undecided. Accurate or not, the polls show a close vote.
We need your help to defeat out of state billionaires who would like to privatize our schools by expanding charters that do not serve all students. Losing this ballot question will result in losing millions of dollars from our schools. We cannot afford to lose. Our city and schools currently lose $150 Million yearly to charter schools.
Please remember to vote NO on Question 2 and ask your friends, colleagues, neighbors and family to vote No on 2 as well…every vote will count.
Especially because this vote will be close, we need your help in the home stretch:
- COVER AN EARLY VOTING SITE: If you can please vote early and volunteer to stay an extra hour or two to help distribute information on NO on 2 to incoming voters. Sign up for a shift!
- UPCOMING SOPS Rally and BTU Get Out the Vote Push! Please join us Tuesday, November 1 for a rally with hundreds of NO on 2 supporters at Prince Hall, 6:30PM. More details and registration.
- November 5 GOTV Rally and Canvass! We will also have a final Get Out The Vote Push with our BTU members launching on Saturday, November 5th from 9:30AM-4PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Sign up for a volunteer shift!
If you have any questions please call or e-mail Jessica Tang or call 617-650-0632)
Thank you for your continued to support. With your help, we can win.
